Web3 Sr. Talent Acquisition Lead

Ideal background will be IIT / IIM or equivalent graduate with product or marketing experience in a tech first company at a reasonably senior position but want to move to talent ops for the love of building the foundation on which great companies are build.

About Us: Polysynth is multi-chain, decentralized platform for trading derivatives such as perpetual futures and options. We are the first perpetual futures exchange on Polygon. We have raised funds from Jump Capital, Defi Alliance, Hashed, Brevan Howard and prominent crypto billionaires like Sandeep Nailwal & Jaynti Kanani.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identifying, pitching, and screening potential candidates for open positions
• Lead full cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Work with management to ensure the selection of suitable candidates for all positions.
• Lead employer branding initiatives
• Organize and attend hackathons and industry events to spot talent
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

Pre-requisites:

• Typically, 3 to 5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager for technical (frontend/backend/product) and non-technical (design, marketing, BD & partnerships) roles in a fast-paced tech first company (preferably FinTech).
• Track record of hiring passive but exceptionally brilliant candidates for startup(s)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit and strong interest / curiosity in web3 space
• Ability to work remotely and desire to make an impact in a highly visible role
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or trading experience at Goldman Sachs (preferred)

Your First 30 Days

In your first 10 days, you will get acclimatized to Polysynth, the team and our culture:

• During the first two days, you will be immersed in an onboarding program that introduces you to the company and the product.
• Spend time talking to different teams, their vision, requirements, what they do day-to-day, what key skills they will look for in potential team members and how they see themselves playing critical role in our journey.
• Be introduced to everyone you will need to know in order to be successful in your role.

In your first 20 days, you will become a valuable member of the team:

• Take ownership of recruiting and work with management to ensure the selection of suitable candidates for all open positions.
• Establishing policies and best practices for performance management and personnel compliance for full-time / contract employees.

In your first 30 days, you will continue to increase your influence:

• Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans
• Work with management for 360-degree talent acquisition, onboarding, retention and compensation plan
• Formulate and implement strategies for employer branding
