Coinbase is hiring a Staff Blockchain Engineer - Smart Contract
Compensation: $14k - $72k estimated

What you’ll be doing:
- Architect smart contract protocols
- Build secure smart contract protocols and backend services to connect Coinbase users with the crypto ecosystem
- Drive the standardization in crypto protocols by designing and defining interfaces
- Work closely with management and product to define crypto strategies and roadmaps
- Mentor and train other team members on smart contract best practices
- Participate in on-call rotation
What we look for in you:
- 3+ year Experience with Solidity and smart contract development
- 2+ year Experience with backend development
- Experience with blockchain and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi etc.)
- Hands-on coding ability
- Interest and passion for contributing to the crypto ecosystem
- Interest and passion for building secure, robust, scalable infrastructure
Nice to haves:
- Experience using Amazon Web Services, MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with Go
- Experience with microservices
