Ava Labs is looking for a Policy Analyst that can lead the legal team's efforts in all aspects of policy advocacy. The position also entails leading Owl Explains, a practical resource for policymakers and influencers to understand the fundamentals of blockchain and web3. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive all aspects of the Owl Explains project, including content creation for Linkedin and Twitter channels, and events coordination
• Create simple/effective positioning and messaging strategies for technical educational content
• Lead and continue to develop relationships with Ava Labs policy consultants and affiliated advocacy groups in both Europe and the US
• Implements short and long term advocacy strategies to advance Ava Labs’ proactive policy portfolio
• Produce in-depth analysis of industry via research data platforms, social media networks and news/media sites
• Maintain up to date knowledge of global policy developments and industry influencers
• Write for a variety of audiences and produce fact sheets, memos, issue briefs, toolkits, and other materials that detail specific policies of interest to the company and their impact

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• 2 years of professional experience in social media, copywriting or related field
• Excellent writing and organization skills
• Demonstrated ability in developing messaging strategies and content for social media campaigns
• Experience with project management
• Interest in the legal, regulatory, compliance and policy functions of the Web3 industry
• Social media research: Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram and/or other web3 spaces
• Deep familiarity with news/media sources and critical industry topics
