BlockFi is looking for a Director of Product Management to join our growing team!

About Your Team

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to join BlockFi’s Yield product team. You will work with the team to drive the strategy and execution of BlockFi's retail yield product portfolio. The Yield team is responsible for building new products that allow clients to earn on their crypto. This currently includes BlockFi Yield and Personalized Yield product offerings. Our mission is to navigate the quickly evolving crypto, regulatory, and competitive landscape to offer best-in-class solutions to build wealth.

Your Role

In this role, you will define and drive product strategy for multiple Yield products. As a director of product management, you will also be responsible for managing and mentoring other product managers, and hiring and scaling the team to appropriately meet the growing demands of our product offering. In developing your product roadmap, you will need to keep a pulse across a dynamic financial, regulatory, and technology landscape while maintaining an iterative approach.

Responsibilities

• Research the ever-changing crypto market, identify strategic opportunities, develop the roadmap for multiple product offerings, and deliver new products and features in collaboration with technology and cross-functional team members that drive value to our clients
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of Product Managers to achieve high performance and create a great employee experience
• Manage the product backlog, effectively prioritizing, and identifying new opportunities for features and key enhancements
• Define, own and maintain KPIs to monitor impact on performance and increase product value

Your Expertise

• 8+ years of Product Management experience with a successful track record of professional growth
• Evidence of launching products from ideation to launch
• Experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing the talent of team’s you’ve managed
• Direct experience (preferred) or strong interest in personal investing, cryptocurrency and decentrailized finance
• Passion about the work you do and impact the products you’ve built have on your clients and broader company mission
• Have worked on products that require a deep understanding of internal client needs (account, finance, legal, operations, client service and marketing) and retail client needs
• Ability to synthesize complex problems into more simplified solutions while communicating effectively and transparently with fellow teammates and stakeholders
