This role is temporary for 12 months with the potential for an extension. Starting date is as soon as possible in our office in the Prime Tower in Zurich.

Workload: 60-80%

Key responsibilities

• Broad application of diverse compliance topics within the financial services industry
• Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory landscape, including DLT and crypto
• Interacting with relationship managers (first line)
• Second line function in connection with transaction monitoring/sanction screening, client, and counterparty onboarding, as well as lifecycle management
• Updating policies and procedures
• Processing documentation; designing and implementing controls
• Executing periodic compliance controls
• Planning and holding compliance trainings, as well as carrying out reporting and risk assessments
• Doing quality reviews and document management

• A motivated individual with a university law degree, finance/economics, business management, or a related field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the Swiss financial/fintech industry (e.g., in the Compliance Department of a bank) or at a Swiss law firm with a focus on financial law/anti-money laundering compliance
• Professional Certification in Compliance, AML/CTF and/or Blockchain/Digital Currencies is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of the FATF Recommendations and the Swiss regulatory AML framework (AMLA, FINMA requirements, CDB) as well as FinSA is required
• Full working proficiency in English and German; any additional language is a plus
• Crypto experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
• Independent, reliable, and detailed oriented
