Job Description

Kronos Research is a technology and research-driven trading firm. We risk firm capital, trading a broad range of financial instruments and strategies on global markets. To improve our daily trading efficiency and effectiveness, we are currently focusing on building/improving the internal tech stack and trading strategies for our traders to use.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a passion for blockchain and quantitative trading (though not necessarily a lot of experience in the space) who will work closely with cross-functional teams and lead the entire process of our internal risk management tools and trading strategies development.

The best Tech PMs must ensure that all projects adhere to the required standards timeline and scope, and also be tasked to develop project plans that meet company needs with company goals. In addition, coordinating quantitative researchers and software engineers throughout all stages of the project was emphasized as well.

Responsibilities

• Controlling & Managing the entire execution of hundreds of trading strategies projects to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope and timeline.
• Assist in the development of related projects for risk panels, such as data visualization tools for risk management, big data analyst and simulation of small tasks.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Act as technical writer. Write technical blogs to help potential engineer and trader candidates better understand Kronos.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, professional experience in project management or related technical field required
• Experience in project management leading in technical related industry
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods, such as running Scrum
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, and have experience in establishing guidelines for others
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong teaming abilities
• Interest in and good understanding of both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
• Great communication and expression skills in both English and Mandarin. Interviews will be conducted in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition are preferred
• Technical background are preferred
