Your Role:

• You will work directly with our General Counsel to provide substantive and administrative assistance with legal matters for Nova Labs.
• You will assist in developing and implementing legal policy and guidance for matters involving employment, human resources, public relations, marketing, compliance, data privacy, business agreements, and others.
• You will work with outside counsel on a variety of matters involving litigation, employment, public policy, regulatory, commercial, patents, and IP.
• You will maintain current knowledge on the blockchain industry’s evolving regulatory landscape and monitor our compliance and government relations efforts.

You have:

• At least 4+ years experience as an associate attorney with a technology-based and venture-backed company or an attorney with relevant experience at a major law firm.
• A high degree of attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and proactively devise creative solutions.
• Ability to comprehend new technologies quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with employment law, securities regulations, information security, commercial and/or transactional law a plus.
• Experience and/or demonstrable interest in telecommunications, crypto, web3, or blockchain technologies.

Compensation:

• Total compensation structure at Nova Labs is base salary + equity.
• Nova Labs is a remote-first company and takes a market-based approach to base salary pay.
• Pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. For candidates outside of metro market areas, we use the state average.
• The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
• The salary pay scale for the target experience and target skill set across all locations for this role: $128,000 - $216,000
