Web3 Data/Analytics Product Manager

Compensation: $80k - $1k *

Securrency is hiring a Web3 Data/Analytics Product Manager with experience in banking, Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and/or RegTech technology.

The Web3 Data/Analytics product manager will lead the effort to bring to market a unique, scalable and flexible big data/analytics platform for the blockchain based financial services market. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in and/or have experience developing data platforms and applications for financial services and will have broad financial services industry experience. This person should be self-motivated, eager to learn and willing to take responsibility for defining the business requirements a driving the business results for our LedgerScan data/analytics platform.

In this role you’ll be working in a fast moving, high energy environment with some of the best data scientists, blockchain engineers and web3 architects. You’ll be expected to take ownership of the product P&L and have the experience and maturity to interface with clients and Securrency executives. You will work with your peer business and technology peers to create and deliver an integrated portfolio roadmap that delights our customers, excites and fulfills your team members and achieves our financial objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product structure, pricing and management of the product P&L
  • Act as the trusted business advisors for the sales team, and the prime interface for internal deal support and representation
  • Provide management of the Product Roadmap by prioritizing the development of features based on customer and market needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams by defining the "Why" and "What" will be build in the DeFi application space
  • Analyze and document client requirements
  • Conduct product demonstrations in support of sales opportunities
  • Create detailed technical proposals and business architectures
  • Lead the response to technical RFPs and documentation requests
  • Develop Sales Enablement and Train Sales on Product Value proposition
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for efficient and effective execution of projects
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Understand the market and how our products are differentiated and compete.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Deliver reports and escalate issue to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders
  • represent the product line to customers, analysts, and the media
  • Utilize and continuously develop leadership skills and transfer of knowledge to the team
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. and relevant additional qualifications, e.g., a CFA, are a major benefit.
  • Experience with Agile development practices especially in the role of Product Owner
  • Experience in banking, finance, trading, consulting with a deep understanding of financial instruments and systems
  • Strong interest in blockchain and digital asset ecosystem and demonstrable knowledge of major defi protocols
  • Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
  • Flexible, good work ethic, and a willingness to learn are key
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
