Massless is a collection of physicists, engineers, and creatives working together to build the future of decentralized media and entertainment through our end-to-end platform.

We assist established, emerging creatives and brands start independent Web3 based-studios and help them to launch NFTs, build Web3 experiences, and create metaverses. We work with creatives from studios like Netflix, DreamWorks, and ILM and have been developing fundamental technology to enable the metaverse from inception.

We have enabled over $30M to be generated through NFT launches and have a strong track record in doing what has never been done before.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Web3 Developer to help develop Smart Contracts on Ethereum and other blockchains for NFT, Web3, and Metaverse projects. This is a crucial role for Massless and you will have the opportunity to make a unique contribution to this space for our clients. This is a remote working opportunity open to anyone available to work in European or US East Coast time zones.

You have

• Strong understanding, or experience with NFTs
• At least 1 year experience in Solidity as we use this daily
• At least 5 years experience as an Engineer working with languages like TypeScript and JavaScript
• Bonus points if you have worked on or owned a launch of an Ethereum mainnet project
• Experience with Hardhat & Ethers.js
• Experience with Node.js, Next.js, React & Vercel
• Experience working in a start-up environment
• Experience working in a disciplined, data and process driven environment
• Excellent planning and reporting skills

You will

• Collect or receive requirements from the Project Manager/Web3 Lead
• Research the latest advancements in Smart Contract standards and develop Smart Contracts in Solidity for Ethereum
• Perform unit testing
• Optimize contracts to minimize gas fees
• Deploy to Testnet
• Perform auditing of internal smart contracts, or work with external auditors
• Deploy to Mainet
• Design and build web3 integrations
• Launch web3 projects

What success looks like

In the first month, you will….

• We will give you all the tools that you will need to learn about Massless and our processes.
• You will dive headfirst into our projects and start to drive projects independently.
• There will be an expectation to move fast, work within tight deadlines and you will have the full support of your team in this.
• You will also collaborate with existing team members to develop smart contracts for NFTs, Web3 experiences, or Metaverses.

In the next few months, you will...

• Start to independently develop smart contracts and own projects under the management of the Web3 Lead.
• Support projects during launch.

The team

You will be reporting to Richard Casemore, Web3 Lead. A retired Acrobat with many years of engineering experience evolving between web, api and hardware. With a passion for clean code and improving developer experience, he loves to make tools that make a developers life easier. Richard gets excited about problems because it gives us the opportunity to build hyper practical solutions.
