About R3 Professional Services
R3's Professional Services (PS) team works to bring Corda specialist expertise to our customers to make their adoption successful. We engage directly with our customers to design, build, deploy and advise them on their Corda journey to ensure long-term capabilities are sustained. Through business consulting, technical solutions and implementation, we help customers achieve their goals most effectively for their business, owning projects ranging from small design POCs to full-end to end implementations for Digital Currencies and Digital Assets real-world problems.
Our customer-centric and innovative approach to providing services and solutions in the industry allows us to strategically assess our customer's needs and ensure they are set up for success from the beginning of their journey. In addition to working directly with our customers, we strive to collaborate internally with our Sales, Engineering and Product organizations to provide better tooling, services and products based on our customer's evolving needs.
The Resource Operations office sits within the larger Professional Services team and is critical to the smooth running of the team on a global scale. This role is accountable for the effective planning and forecasting of the group, as well as influencing hiring decisions using data and understanding of resource profiles. It also involves providing the appropriate tooling, processes and forums to enable the team to thrive. There is a potential for this role to grow and support other PS teams.
Key Responsibilities - Resource Management Duties (30%)
- Work alongside and support the RMO in day-to-day activities including adhoc tasks.
- Klient data management (Klient is a Salesforce-native app, we will teach you how to use it):
- Reviewing and updating the Klient allocation by connecting with PM's / DM's on a weekly basis.
- Identify and address instances of under/over utilization of the PS team.
- Allocate and adjust allocations as required to optimize resourcing i.e. skillset, timelines, margins, revenue and own individual aspirations.
- Assist with the fortnightly Opco resourcing update.
- Onboarding activities for new joiners.
Key Responsibilities - Operations Duties (40%)
- Supporting Resource Operations with Klient PSA administration and documentation.
- Responsible for timely submission of timesheets by team members.
- Updating Klient with project cloud costs, travel & expenses and resource costs.
- Supporting the roll-out and delivery of Klient dashboard reporting to the wider PS team.
- Ensure rolled out processes are adopted by the PS team with a view of continuous improvement.
- Help lead the partner onboarding initiative to include Dev Rail portal, skills matrix and certification across the partner ecosystem.
- Klient PSA data management and dashboard reporting.
- Potential for this role to grow and support other PS teams.
Key Responsibilities - PMO Duties (30%)
- Support project PMO administration activities across the PS portfolio of projects.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate or current undergraduate student completing their second or third year of studies.
- Possess strong analytical skills as well as system handling skills.
- Able to display flexibility under changing priorities.
- Willingness to collaborate with the other R3 teams to achieve common objectives.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Capable user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to project management principles would be considered an advantage.
- Experience in Salesforce PSA and Atlassian tools would be considered an advantage.
