As a mid level engineer within our core web engineering team, you'll contribute to the development and enhancement of Ledger.com, directly impacting the end-to-end customer experience. Our team manages a variety of systems, from an ecommerce platform processing orders globally to innovative blockchain-based applications.

Your mission

• Develop and implement new features and functionality to enhance our customer experience, focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of our core systems
• Design, build, operate, and maintain crucial systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability of our core e-commerce systems
• Collaborate with your team to quickly test ideas with users, iterating based on results to improve our product
• Take technical ownership of development areas, influencing decisions around tooling, architecture, and Agile processes
• Advocate for best practices and engineering principles, leveraging your experience to mentor team members, especially those at Level 1

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in innovative technology environments, with a track record of developing scalable, robust applications
• Expertise in software development, writing efficient, clean code in multiple languages, and using the best tools for the task. Experience across multiple paradigms and languages is a plus
• Solid commercial experience with our primary technologies: React, TypeScript, Node.js
• Experience with high-traffic transactional websites, including a good understanding of performance optimization best practices
• An interest in crypto and blockchain is advantageous but not required
