YOUR PURPOSE
Coin Metrics is recruiting a Technical Research Analyst. Our Technical Research Analyst will conduct exploratory research on cryptoasset/blockchain technologies and provide technical guidance to our Labs teams.
YOUR VALUE
- Identifying and researching emerging blockchain technologies of interest to our community and our clients.
- Developing innovative original theories/methods applicable to supporting our mission of making cryptoassets transparent and accessible.
- Synthesizing relevant research findings into case studies and whitepapers that will inform our product development efforts and educate our clients.
- Analyzing major public blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with academia and cryptoasset development teams.
- Consulting with Labs engineers and marketing teams.
- Staying up to date with the latest technical developments in crypto.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- Interest in and understanding of cryptoassets and blockchain technology
- Strong writing skills
- Experience with data analysis
- Curiosity to explore new technologies and ability to learn at a fast pace
- Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related field or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Python or R and SQL is desirable
