We are looking for a creative, dynamic individual to join our Content and Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Community. Responsibilities include growing our community and communicating community content and events via various channels.


Responsibilities

  • Grow the Tonic community online via various platforms and social media, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord and Twitter
  • Develop & implement digital content growth strategies to grow and retain user base and increase engagements and conversions
  • Onboard new users and ensure their continued success as community members
  • Keep internal and external informational resources up to date
  • Develop and host events to keep our community engaged and to create excitement and buzz about Tonic
  • Create digital campaign reports, analyzing campaign performance along with strategic recommendations for continual improvements
  • Gather insights from community interactions and surface critical issues to other teams to ensure Tonic’s growth and success
  • Generate new story ideas and brainstorm content
  • Find and sharing relevant news stories
  • Maintain the editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with team members to execute content across channels
  • Edit and proofread content
  • Analyze performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of content and suggest improvements for better engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in marketing, social media and community roles, and experience building a digital community from the ground up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A fun and dynamic personality
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skills that identify newsworthy topics and anticipate new coverage areas on the horizon
  • Enthusiasm for learning new production technologies on the fly
  • Comfort level with digital marketing platforms, content management systems and software
  • Web3 experience is a plus
  • Experience or education in fine art or luxury design is a plus
  • Remote candidates could be considered but residing in New York City is preferred

Benefits

  • Salary range: $55-65k
