The Role

We're looking for a Quantitative Researcher with experience at a Tier 1 trading firm to help optimize our execution and trading systems. You'll work closely with engineers to inform the design of our risk models and contribute directly to system improvements that bridge traditional finance and onchain innovation.

What You'll Do

• Analyze performance of Theo's onchain and offchain trading strategies across our tokenized product suite
• Model system risk and help optimize capital efficiency for institutional-grade financial products
• Inform protocol design and parameter selection with data-driven insights that meet both traditional finance standards and DeFi innovation
• Collaborate directly with our engineering team to architect solutions for complex financial use cases
• Help establish the quantitative foundations for universal access to tokenized assets

What We're Looking For

• Background at a leading trading firm (crypto or TradFi) - You understand execution dynamics, market microstructure, and strategy design
• Strong intuition for markets, with experience bridging traditional finance and blockchain technology
• Hands-on modeling experience using tools/languages of your choice - we value adaptability over specific tech stacks
• 5+ years of quantitative research experience, but we value hunger and promise over traditional experience markers
• Collaborative mindset that thrives in our flat organizational structure
• Ownership mentality - you take action and move the needle independently
