As the founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, Quanteam is a consulting firm specialized in Banking, Finance, and Financial Services. Through our core human values – proximity, teamwork, diversity, excellence – our 1000 expert consultants, hailing from 35 different nationalities, collaborate across 13 international offices: Paris, Lyon, New York, Montreal, London, Brussels, Luxembourg, Geneva, Lisbon, Porto, Casablanca, Madrid and Singapore.

Context

You will join the technology department of a leading global financial institution, acting as a key technology representative across a set of prioritized digital asset and blockchain initiatives. The organization is actively engaged in the adoption of digital asset networks within its Capital Markets activities, covering areas such as digital currency payments for tokenized transactions, collateral management, tokenized repo trading, digital-only structured notes issuance, and natively digital trading venues.

The role requires strong hands-on exposure to distributed ledger technologies combined with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and translate technical constraints into actionable solutions.

Role

• Capture business requirements and define appropriate technical solutions aligned with strategic goals

• Write functional and technical specifications, ensuring review and sign-off by users, peers, and stakeholders

• Take an active part in developing demos and proofs of concept

• Assess and document implications for existing information systems, both short-term and long-term

• Advise business sponsors on feasibility and delivery timelines

• Guide technology management on implementation strategy

• Coordinate across delivery teams and manage project plans, ensuring clear progress communication

• Work alongside production support teams to roll out changes and new functionality

Profile

• University degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)

• Hands-on experience with digital token-based platforms: digital wallets, tokenized securities, crypto, smart contracts, and blockchain networks (Ethereum, Canton, or equivalent)

• In-depth understanding of scaling, security, operability, and supportability challenges in blockchain environments

• Proven experience as a technical consultant or project manager, comfortable presenting to senior management

• Strong plus: prior experience deploying digital wallets (e.g. stablecoins) for USD clearing, settlement, and payments in a traditional finance context

• Familiarity with implications on existing ledger systems and back-office teams

• Good command of the digital asset ecosystem and its key service providers

• Autonomous, rigorous, accountable, and able to operate across diverse project stakeholders
