DESCRIPTION: The Bittensor Product Manager is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the VP of AI, the Bittensor Product Manger will lead the discovery, development, and launch of subprojects on the Bittensor Network. You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver new products to meet the needs of our customers and further the mission of decentralized AI.

This position is required to sit in Rochester, NY.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Determine, define, and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps for projects built on top of the Bittensor ecosystem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch world-class product features and capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Define and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps for projects built on top of Bittensor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new features and capabilities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and release notes.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor product performance, analyze usage data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, blockchain, and related technologies.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus in blockchain and/or AI sectors.
• Strong understanding of AI and macine learning concepts such as neural networks, deep learning, or natural language processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain and AI projects, such as Python or Rust.
• Familiarity with blockchain principles, technologies, and platforms. Specific knowledge of the Bittensor network would be beneficial.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and product management tools such as Jira.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive projects towards successful outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with user research and user experience principles.

Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Active participation in blockchain and/or AI communities, forums, and events.
• Prior experience working directly with the Bittensor network or similar decentralized AI networks.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis, data engineering, and big data technologies.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments and adapt to emerging technologies and market trends.
• Passion for decentralization and exploring new technologies.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
