Associate Program Manager (Blockchain, NFT & Web3 Accelerator)

Compensation: $45k - $120k *

Animoca Brands, Hong Kong’s latest Unicorn, and Brinc have launched Launchpad Luna, a new accelerator program to identify, mentor, and invest in promising blockchain, non-fungible tokens (NFT), Blockchain-based Gaming/GameFi, and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) startups that are shaping the future of the Web3.0 and driving digitalization.

Launchpad Luna will also accept high-potential startups seeking to adopt blockchain, NFT, Blockchain-based Gaming/GameFi, and DeFi into their core business. This role will support this newly launched program.

What you will do:

The Associate Program Manager (APM) - is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the Accelerator program. The APM is accountable for implementing any of the proposed changes and improvements to the program, coordinating the program's projects, and supporting them in their inter-dependencies.

Under the direction of the Program Manager (PM), the APM will coordinate and run all operational aspects of the program, and pay particular attention to processes and existing tools for effective coordination of the program’s projects and management of the many related activities including oversight of any risks and issues that arise during the delivery of the Accelerator will be essential.

The APM also works closely with the founders of the startups which they supervise; becoming one of the first lines of interactions between Brinc and Founders. They are expected to take on all tasks to learn how to run an accelerator program.

Example Projects

  • Run a successful Demo Day for each accelerator cohort showcasing our investments to ecosystem partners and investors
  • Manage and design internal and external communication channels such as slack the slack group for each cohort
  • Manage a team of interns to execute program objectives
  • Collaborate with Brinc’s marketing team to develop cohort-specific marketing collateral for founders
  • Architect and audit founders’ journey from start to finish in Brinc’s accelerator program

You would contribute in the following areas:

  • Support the planning and designing of the program and proactively support its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action proactively, whenever possible to ensure effective quality assurance
  • Report the progress of the program at regular intervals to the Program Manager
  • Support proposal vetting and technical due diligence of the Investment Committee
  • Own and manage the operations & logistics of the accelerator programs
  • Proactively monitor program progress and communicate with founders
  • Resolve issues of daily operational systems and processes
  • Manage and set up the tools and the communication channels used with internal and external teams
  • Manage day-to-day communications with startups
  • Ensure all deliverables and projects are completed in a timely manner
  • Organize events eg. community events, demo day, investor pitching & networking events

To apply for this position, you are/must have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience with blockchain-related and web3 technologies through any of: hackathons, open-source work, personal projects, or similar experiences
  • You’re never tired of learning. You want to be a pro in cutting edge blockchain-related tech like DeFi protocols, smart contracts, NFTs, DAO governance, tokenomics and Web 3.0 in general
  • Fluent in English. Any other languages are a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Good knowledge of program and project management methods
  • The ability to take initiative and build solutions
  • Bachelor and above. Business/project management and relative major

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within the startup ecosystem
  • Experience working in a consulting firm or corporate
  • Experience working in project management roles
  • Experience working with the tech platforms: Trello, Confluence, Google suite, Slack, Airtable, Stacker, Zoom, Otter
