THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We are looking for an experienced, talented sales executive to grow the client-facing side of our organization. As we execute our go-to-market strategy, it's imperative that we find an individual with the ability to define new processes, leverage their existing network, build teams, and coach team members into excellence.

As a first sales and business development team member in our client-facing teams, you will assist in establishing the cultural foundation of how we service our prospects and customers in Singapore. You'll influence the fabric of our business development efforts to continuously innovate to make our customers' lives better and create a culture that places clients at the center of what we do.

You will be an indispensable contributor to FPG's business development efforts in APAC, contributing to defining goals, establishing relationships, and devising tactical ways to develop and maintain a thriving network of prospective clients.

What you’ll be doing.

Driving Revenue

  • Play a key part in meeting the company’s revenue growth targets in APAC.
  • From ideation to execution, you will own & drive significant portions of all institutional sales processes.
  • Be a recognizable face of the team to speak and represent the brand at conferences, events, webinars, and meetings.

Relationship Management

  • Learn and truly understand the nature of our prospective and existing clients’ problems.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients to optimize our services.
  • Engage regularly with both prospective and existing clients to establish mutually beneficial, long-lasting relationships.
  • Obtain regular feedback on FPG’s product and services in efforts to optimize the value we provide to clients.

Goals & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the General Manager of APAC to define and set metrics for revenue and client retention.
  • Represent customer insights on our products and our competitors in critical strategy decisions.
  • Strategize best practices to monetize FPG’s unique offering and positioning in the greater APAC markets

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience building institutional sales pipelines and processes in APAC, preferably Singapore
  • You are located in Singapore
  • Mandarin professional working proficiency preferred
  • You have a thorough understanding of equities, FX, commodities, derivatives, or prime brokerage sales
  • You pride yourself in building relationships and maintain a strong network within the financial services industry
  • You have a good understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain based concepts, and have experiencing selling related products
  • You are a self-starter who takes ownership and can lead/manage projects
  • You have a good business network that you can leverage
  • You have past experience working with startups or in an entrepreneurial setting
  • You’re really excited about digital assets and seek out ways to grow your expertise
  • You prioritize transparency and straight-forward communication
  • You don’t take yourself too seriously
