This role is hiring for our Portfolio company.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts for various business lines, providing holistic risk assessments and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downsides.
- Support business teams with the launch and development of new products and services, balancing commercial and regulatory considerations.
- Identify legal problems and support requirements to offer strategic assistance to various teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a broad range of transactional matters.
- Monitor and promote consistency in legal approaches across internal stakeholders by aligning with legal framework developments.
- Advise on and implement solutions for issues, taking prudent risks within the business context.
- Anticipate and stay current on relevant laws to provide proactive, business-focused advice and counsel.
- Manage legal efforts in response to company matters and oversee external communications on legal issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an in-house counsel or lawyer.
- Ability to work autonomously and reliably within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills to effectively work across various projects and global teams in different time zones.
- Proficient understanding of commercial legal work with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating agreements.
- Initiative to identify and solve problems in a business-friendly and solution-oriented manner.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strategic, commercial, and practical thinking abilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Experience with Crypto, Financial, or Payment Institutions, or in a reputable law firm, is a plus.
