Community Manager – Discord (DeFi Industry)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Community Manager to oversee and grow our Discord community. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for our community members, facilitate meaningful discussions, and ensure the community remains a welcoming space for DeFi enthusiasts, developers, and newcomers alike.

If you're a self-starter who understands the DeFi space, loves engaging with communities, and has a flair for creative problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

The main priority is that you understand the DeFi space!

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: 
  • Actively manage and monitor the Discord server to ensure a positive, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere.
  • Foster meaningful conversations about our products, DeFi trends, and community initiatives.
  • Proactively address questions, concerns, and feedback from community members.
• Content Creation & Events:
  • Host and organize AMAs, community calls, and online events to engage the community. 
  • Share regular updates, announcements, and educational content to keep members informed and excited.
• Growth & Retention:
  • Develop strategies to grow the Discord community and retain active members. 
  • Onboard new members by guiding them through our platform and answering their queries.
• Moderation:
  • Ensure the Discord server remains spam-free and adheres to community guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with moderators to address inappropriate behavior and ensure a safe online environment.
• Feedback & Insights:
  • Act as the bridge between the community and internal teams, relaying feedback and insights to improve our products and services. 
• Provide regular reports on community engagement metrics and sentiment.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience managing online communities, preferably in the blockchain, crypto, or DeFi space.
  • Familiarity with Discord tools and server management.
•  Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and DeFi concepts.
  •  Up-to-date with emerging trends in the Web3 ecosystem.
•  Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, preferably English. 
  • Creative mindset with a knack for problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  •  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
•  Bonus Points:
  • Prior experience hosting or moderating AMAs or community events.
  • Familiarity with other social platforms like Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit.
