Web3 Community Manager, Taringa!

IOV Labs is on a mission to provide the next generation of fintech innovators with the decentralized tools and technology to build a new global economy.

IOV Labs operates the RSK Blockchain, a Bitcoin merge-mined smart contracts platform - the most secure smart contract platform in the world. IOV Labs also develops the RSK Infrastructure Framework (RIF) to provide our partners with everything they need to build decentralized apps and new Open Finance services on the RSK Blockchain.

We have had early success with partners building ground-breaking Open Finance services on RSK. We are now scaling-up our ambitions, expanding into new markets, and driving transaction growth throughout the RSK EcoSystem.

This is a rare opportunity in this space! We are creating a new role that responds to an opportunity we are envisioning, and we need you to make it a reality. We are looking for a profile with communications skills, social media savvy, and interested in blockchain.  

As Taringa! Community Manager, you will create and lead the social media strategy to foster brand awareness and build a strong relationship with the Brand. You will be responsible for setting and executing the community strategy spanning multiple channels. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Set, plan and implement social media campaigns and strategies
• Drive Trainga.net community growth and engagement.
• Drive Taringa’s social media strategy, development, growth, and engagement.
• Manage communication channels, e.g. Telegram, Discord, etc.
• Develop and expand community.
• Create useful, localized, diverse and trendy content to share in different channels that generate interaction. This includes: text, image, audios and video among others.
• Manage social media content calendar and schedule all social media content
• Manage content distribution throughout the different communities.
• Respond to customers in a timely manner
• Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
• Monitor competitors on social media.
• Coordinate with other Marketing teams 
• Liaise with product departments
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
• Experience planning and leading community initiatives
• Hands-on experience with social media management
• Ability to interpret website traffic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of online marketing 
• Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
• Ability to collaborate while also working independently
• Result-oriented with the ability to multitask and deliver on short deadlines
• Passion for blockchain and crypto.
• Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field


Desirable: 
• 2-3 years of experience in the crypto/blockchain sector.
• 2-3 years of experience in a fast pace startup environment
• Argentine Nationality (Although the position is 100% remote!)
