Content Writer - Blockchain/Crypto, Europe

We are looking for a versatile writer with a nose for storytelling, PR-worthy angles and a real interest in crypto.

This role involves producing copy and content that will be distributed across a range of formats, including web, email, video, social media, audio and print. You will also be involved in pitching ideas, insights and supporting the editorial strategy and planning process.

Qredo is a young and ambitious scale-up operating in an exciting and fast-moving domain. You will be part of a collaborative, friendly and close-knit marketing team and will interface with all departments and levels of the firm.

Our audience is very multi-dimensional, spanning B2B, B2C and pretty much everything in-between. Audience profiles range from an 18 year old investing in crypto from their Istanbul bedroom, to the hardened Head of Ops at a blue chip asset manager in New York.

Because Qredo is a ‘remote-first’ company with staff around the world, we place a premium on good, open communication. We are also growing fast, so a can-do, happy-to-muck-in attitude is definitely useful.

We are looking to hire someone full-time (remote) but are willing to consider candidates who start part-time or freelance and then transition.

• 5+ years of experience working in a content or marketing role within finance, fintech, or technology -- or, as a journalist covering related fields
  
• A genuine and demonstrable interest in the blockchain space and an ability to learn quickly what Qredo does and the benefits it can bring
  
• Excellent written English communication skills, using different tones of voice and across both short and long form copy
  
• A proven ability to communicate sometimes technical information in a clear and engaging way
  
• The maturity and ability to manage more involved content projects and interact with both internal stakeholders and external agencies (PR, social media)
  
• Comfort with social media platforms (in particular, Twitter and LinkedIn), both in terms of content required and account admin
  
• An aptitude for learning and using a wide range of digital marketing and communications tools & techniques
  
• Ideally, experience in aspects of website management eg loading, formatting and publishing web content
• Awareness of SEO and tools like Google Analytics to measure and analyse content performance.
