You’ll work closely with cloud services to deploy and scale backend systems that handle large volumes of data, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.Your contributions will include designing high-quality APIs, optimizing systems for speed, and creating secure, crypto-first solutions that enable seamless payments. You'll collaborate with global cross-functional teams, review code, make architectural decisions, and stay at the forefront of fintech and crypto trends. While the role is open to remote candidates based in the U.S., we have a strong preference for those located in or near San Francisco or New York. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support innovative crypto solutions Work with multi-cloud platforms for deployment, scalability, and high availability Collaborate on exciting projects like wallet connectivity, exchange integration, crypto payments, and smart contracts Conduct thorough testing and debugging, ensuring timely resolution of issues Contribute to code reviews, system design, and architectural decisions Write clean, high-quality, and efficient code following industry best practices Optimize backend systems for reliability, performance, scalability, and data handling Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in fintech, crypto, and backend technologies Build secure, crypto-first solutions that facilitate traditional financial activities like payments and transfers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in fintech or crypto Proficiency in languages like C#, Java, Scala, Go, or similar Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and scalable systems Security-first mindset with working knowledge of AuthN/AuthZ, API security, encryption, and SAML Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, including RPCs, wallets, and self-custody principles Experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP preferred) Comfortable with DevOps workflows and CI/CD tools Clear communicator and team player who thrives in cross-functional environments If you are passionate about building simple solutions to complex problems and are obsessed with creating and building value, we would love to hear from you.
