The Role
Zero Hash is looking for a passionate Director of Business Development to build relationships with our most important partners, in support of the company’s key objectives. This role will give you exposure to how we work with strategic partners to unlock new customer growth, enable new services, increase retention and differentiate Zero Hash.
The Director of Business Development will create and execute Zero Hash sales and marketing plans, including implementing new ideas and tools for the company. He/She must have demonstrated leadership ability and a well-rounded knowledge of the company in order to effectively carry out the duties.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support Business Development team members in client coverage, account management, and partnerships
- Become a subject matter expert for Zero Hash’s Crypto-as-a-Service product
- Develop business cases, proposals, or pitches for prospective partners. Focusing resources on the most promising opportunities
- Continue to add to existing pipelines by business vertical, build out new pipelines
- Own an opportunity from inception guiding clients through technical integration, contract negotiation, due diligence to go-live
- Prospect and qualify deals to generate a robust pipeline of BD opportunities
- Negotiate win-win economics in contracts that support profitable, long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Client Services
- Complete regular business reviews and look for opportunities to improve and grow our partner relationships.
What we look for in you:
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong understanding of the fintech and/or blockchain ecosystem
- Proven ability to lead complex projects: developing strong relationships with key internal and external partners, communicating clearly, solving problems, holding difficult conversations, and driving towards key milestones/outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), and organizational ability to lead several initiatives at once.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and persistence to drive towards outcomes while navigating a multifaceted environment.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in tech, financial services, fintech, neobanks, brokers, and crypto exchanges.
