Web3 Founding Solidity Engineer

Compensation: $120k - $200k

Mozart is a team of Stanford/Cal engineers and creators with advisors from Spotify, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook AR/VR, and Universal Music Group. We are building audio infrastructure for web3. This includes permissioning, storage, security, and instant payments. Our entrypoint: Decentralized podcasting — enabling superfan engagement and a focus on listen to earn.

We are looking for rockstar Solidity engineers who would love to join our team in shaping the future of the music web3 ecosystem.

A day in the life of a Founding Solidity Engineer at Mozart includes:

  • Being part of an open-minded, collaborative team that embraces healthy discussions and supports each other in their goals.
  • Architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering robust solidity smart contracts that are ultimately deployed to mainnet.
  • Helping build the technical foundations that will be built on for years to come. As a founding engineer, feedback for how we can improve is very highly valued.

A Founding Solidity Engineer at Mozart will have

  • 3+ years of backend, smart contract or protocol experience at a tech, product-driven company
  • Ability to design, run, and deploy smart contracts in Solidity. Has experience writing production level smart contracts.
  • Has a computer science degree or other experience teaching deep, fundamental computer science
  • Ability to take ownership of developing and releasing new back end or smart contract features

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with contract auditing and validation strategies
  • Can architect a system e.g. in Node.js or Django; comfortable architecting backend schemas, APIs, storage and retrieval layers
  • Previous experience working at an early stage web3 startup
