Gala is hiring a Web3 Games Product Manager

The Role

As a result, we are excited to announce a Product Manager role with our stellar VOX team. This is a wildly unique opportunity to assist in building VOXverse designed by Will Wright, creator of the Sims, Spore, and Sim City.
As a Product Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping our game's product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You'll work closely with our talented cross-functional team of developers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver the Web3 gaming products that will take the industry by storm. You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of entertainment. The ideal candidate has prior game dev experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.
Responsibilities
- Breaking down visions and strategies (directional input) into actionable product features and improvements
- Drive product and feature roadmap through data. Generate expected outcomes by analyzing data from existing games, creating forecast models, and performing funnel analysis. Added value and improved ROI are expected
- Creating detailed specifications of products & features (technical, when required)
- Conducting user research and surveys across and outside our target audiences
- Producing wireframes and UI/UX breakdowns optimized for the best user experience
- Being fully responsible (Owner) for product metrics (growth and retention to begin with) and outcomes of experiments
- Develop NFT monetization, tokenomic and go-to-market strategies for the game. Test, find heat, double down
- Provide detailed insights regarding game and business KPIs to directly influence the development of our games. Insights will be driven by experience, analysis of competitive and comparable titles, and best practices
- Identify player needs and spot opportunities to build features that improve engagement and retention, grow the user base, and engage our players
- Advise team on long-term decision-making and roadmap planning
- Provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-6 years experience in a Product Management role or similar experience working on both strategic and tactical sides of Product Management
- Must have 3+ years of experience within the games industry
- Experience with Analytics Tools is a plus
- Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and technologies
- Being a “go-getter”. Our Product Managers must exert the ability to find what needs to be done and then execute accordingly
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced business and rapidly changing priorities
- A relationship builder who can work collaboratively and constructively with others
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Experience in product lifecycle management
- Background in software development and program management is preferred
- End-to-end product development preferred
- Experience writing software requirements, including epics, tickets, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Creative thinking skills and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
- Excited by problem-solving
- Fearless
Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications
- Gaming experience is a plus
- Prior successful experience working in a fully remote environment
