Web3 Recruit is hiring a Web3 Head of Business Development
Compensation: $150k - $220k
Location: Remote
This role will be a foundational member of the company’s Commercial / Business Development team.
This role will be integral to the development, delivery, review, and maturation of the company’s commercial strategy to drive business growth.
The ideal candidate is a crypto insider with extensive experience and a proven track record in crypto, particularly with native crypto protocols. They should be adept at quickly building networks and identifying collaboration opportunities in unexpected places
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and implement enterprise customer / partner acquisition strategy across Web 2 and Web3.
- Own customer relationships via sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Oversee and champion web3 community building.
- Liquidity provision deals. Actively seek LP funds to grow our TVL.
- Deals with growth platforms like launchpads and identify new emerging methods of growth.
- Identify integration opportunities with orderflow partners - aggregators, trading frontends, wallets, solver networks, native DeFi protocols, analytics platforms.
- Partnerships with other L2s and L1s that we will integrate and design co-promotion tactics.
- Quickly build a network of industry contacts and leverage connections to drive business growth.
- Identify and attend relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Be plugged into industry hot topics and identify growth opportunities
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong commercial background across Web2 and Web3.
- Proven experience in business development in the Web3 space.
- Proven experience at the coalface of a startup.
- Demonstrable experience in managing operational performance within financial budgets.
- Proven ability to attract new enterprise quality sales and retain existing customers.
- Strong understanding of DeFi products and relevant technologies.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical and technical knowledge to be able to grasp technical DeFi products.
