Web3 Head of User Experience

Are you a strategic design leader who can bring teams together to solve complex problems with simplicity and delight? The R&D team at Chainalysis is a group of trailblazers who are fanatic about cryptocurrency and delivering exceptional solutions to our customers.

We are looking for a Head of Experience to drive design strategy for our entire product suite while leading a team of design managers, product designers, researchers and content writers to craft an outstanding customer experience in the expanding and ever-changing market landscape. As a senior leader, you will set the vision for the entire product experience and seek to bring strong customer centricity, ensuring our solutions scale, innovate, and delight. You will also be responsible for the quality of the shipped experiences and growing the level of design craft on the team.

You will partner on an ongoing basis with your peers in Engineering and Product Management to build and execute on the team’s vision. You will provide creative vision not just for the design team but the entire organization. Not only will you be working on scaling the Chainalysis product vision, but also accelerating our mission to support and enable a burgeoning economic ecosystem through intelligent and intuitive designs.

• You’ve hired and retained a high-performing team of UX designers, product writers, and researchers whose work delights both internal and external stakeholders.
• You have worked with the R&D leadership team to shape the ways customers experience
• Our growing suite of solutions has an intuitive and seamless experience across our user personas with clearly documented and user-validated design principles, content strategy, and positioning considerations.
• At your direction, your team has a strong scalable approach to balancing immediate needs and long-term strategic initiatives.
• You’ve developed and implemented a clear blueprint for content, UX, and visual design efforts from problem definition to design implementation.
• You have built trusting and productive relationships with leaders and stakeholders on the Product and Engineering teams as well as our customers and prospects.
• Internal stakeholders look forward to discussing and debating research findings and design decisions with you because of your focus on data and willingness to collaborate.
• Your team has embraced a culture that emphasizes experimentation, instrumentation, and metrics.

A background like this helps:

• You’ve previously held senior roles and led at least several of the following practices: UX Design, Research, and Content Strategy
• Lead usability standards, design heuristics, and responsive design techniques
• Experience with user-centered research (e.g., usability testing, contextual inquiry, field interviews)
• As the first-of in this role, you have exceptional change management skills and can motivate new and existing employees to contribute to and follow a unified vision.
