Web3 Lead Technical Writer

R3 is looking for a lead technical writer to join our Technical Writing Team. You will build up the documentation strategy and manage a team of writers dedicated to creating instructional and reference documentation for R3’s permissioned blockchain platform.

As well as leading the team, you will play a key role in delivering essential documentation to support one of the world’s most successful commercial blockchain platforms.

The team

You will lead a friendly team of technical writers with varying levels of experience and specialisms. Your team have different backgrounds and skills, but share a love for writing and the conviction that world-class documentation is the only way to ensure world-class technology.

What we do

The Technical Writing Team helps R3 customers and the Corda developer community understand how to use our suite of trust technology products. Our documentation is a core part of the Corda platform. There is no UI or visual application here – Corda is code (Java and Kotlin) and documentation, so the docs have to be accurate, engaging, and inspiring for our users. We are documentation evangelists who are passionate about technical writing. Like engineers, we enjoy solving problems and we can be very creative when doing so. We do have an opinion on the use of the Oxford comma. We are hardworking information hunters, meticulous knowledge keepers, and dedicated storytellers. Plus a few other things.
