Role Summary:

We are on the hunt for a passionate Mid-Level Fullstack Solidity Developer with expertise in blockchain and smart contract development, particularly for NFT sales on the Base platform. This role demands a solid grasp of Solidity and a keen eye for integrating blockchain technologies with traditional web applications to create a seamless, web2-like user experience for the sale and purchase of NFTs. You will be instrumental in architecting our backend and enhancing our creator dashboard, ensuring a harmonious data flow that supports our vision of democratizing content creation and distribution.

Location: Remote (Preference for New York City-based Candidates)

Responsibilities:

• Smart Contract Leadership: Spearhead the development of secure and efficient smart contracts for NFT sales on the Base platform, focusing on features such as account abstraction for a web2-like experience.
• Seamless Integration: Ensure the smooth integration of smart contracts with front-end applications, providing an intuitive user experience for content creators and buyers.
• Full-Stack Expertise: Work on full-stack development projects to architect the backend and enhance the creator dashboard, facilitating a fluid interaction between smart contracts and front-end interfaces.
• Collaborative Solutioning: Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions, maintaining alignment with industry best practices and our strategic objectives.
• Tech Architecture: Develop and maintain a scalable technology architecture that supports current needs and is agile enough to adapt to future market changes and customer requirements.
• Industry Vigilance: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in blockchain, Solidity, and web3 technologies, ensuring Shibuya remains a leader in technological innovation.

• Blockchain Proficiency: At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on blockchain technology, smart contract development using Solidity, and familiarity with the Base platform.
• Full-Stack Capability: Demonstrable skill in full-stack development, especially in integrating smart contracts with web applications.
  Tech Savvy: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Rust, or TypeScript, and familiarity with technologies like GraphQL, Elasticsearch, and Postgres. Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services is preferred.
• Startup Agility: Previous experience in startup environments (desired, not required), showcasing the ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced settings.
