About the role:

At Public we pride ourselves on collaboration between Product, Design and Engineering; so, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through deployment.

You will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing manual test cases in close cooperation with product and development teams. Your job will test new features and bug fixes on both the backend (REST API) and the frontend (web, iOS, Android) as well as regression tests for new releases. From time to time, you will be tasked with investigating a bug report or writing a piece of documentation. In addition we hope you will contribute to improving and evolving our approach to building quality software.

To be successful in this role, a person should be detail-oriented, have a solid background in web and mobile software testing, and possess excellent communication skills. A natural curiosity and desire to dig in and learn how the different systems interact will also come in handy.

You will be joining a growing QA team that is currently based in Copenhagen. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule; however, due to the distributed team there will be some required daily meetings that overlap with our team based in Copenhagen.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
• Strong knowledge of test process, testing techniques and software test tools with exposure to iOS, android, web, and backend
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and testing with Postman or a similar tool
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team
• Experience with JIRA

• Prior experience with development methodologies like Kanban, Lean Agile, Scrum and etc.
