QA Engineer (Web3)

About The Role

We are looking for an exceptional QA engineer to join us in developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure top-notch web3 software quality as part of a product team committed to continuously delivering and developing features for fractional.art. This role will work closely with our CTO and other developers to ensure our software runs smoothly and meets the needs of the desired curator and collector experiences. This role will also have the opportunity to work on confidential / special projects and continue innovating in this exciting space! Experience with blockchain, NFTs, and DeFi is preferred.

What we’re looking for

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Experience developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Experience with Git and Github
• Ability to code automated tests and desire to novel testing practices for web3 software
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Bonus points for

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Previous experience in a start-up environment
• Familiar with blockchain
• Strong UX design skills
• Experience using CI/CD | Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment systems
• Previous experience in a highly scaled, major tech company
• Experience testing web3
