HZ Music DAO is seeking a highly motivated and skilled dApp Developer to join our team and play a key role in building the future of music ownership and fan engagement. We are a forward-thinking organization building a platform that empowers music creators, fans, and rights holders through a unique blend of blockchain technology, social experiences, and the metaverse.

About the Role:

As a dApp Developer at HZ Music DAO, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying our innovative decentralized application (dApp). You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create a secure, scalable, and user-friendly platform that revolutionizes the music industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop smart contracts for functionalities like Music NFT minting, HZMZ token distribution, and staking mechanisms.
• Integrate the dApp with relevant blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Solana) to ensure seamless user experience.
• Develop front-end interfaces for the dApp that are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible across various devices.
• Integrate open source API's for functionality
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the dApp integrates seamlessly with our existing social metaverse experiences on Spatial and MetaMask functionalities.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard user assets and platform integrity.
• Continuously test and debug the dApp to maintain optimal performance and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and Web3 development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a dApp developer with a strong understanding of blockchain technology concepts (decentralization, consensus mechanisms, etc.)
• Expertise in smart contract development using Solidity or other relevant languages.
• Experience with front-end development frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.) and familiarity with Web3 libraries.
• Experience integrating dApps with blockchain networks (Ethereum, Solana, etc.)
• A passion for music and the potential of blockchain to transform the industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Bonus points:

• Experience developing social metaverse experiences on platforms like Spatial.
• Experience with MetaMask integrations.
• Experience with NFT development.
• A portfolio showcasing previous dApp development projects.
