Coinbase is hiring a Web3 Senior IT Service Desk Engineer
Compensation: $72k - $100k estimated

The IT Operations team comprises Global Service Desk (GSD) (you!), Endpoint Management, Identity and Access Management, Global Office Expansion, Infrastructure, and A/V. GSD works closely with each team on various projects and is the main source of support for the company. We have a growing team with a presence across the globe.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Provide amazing day to day support across our hardware and software platforms, for incredibly seasoned to novice level users and everything in between.
- Support Coinbase’s SaaS tools, compliance practices, and provide support for our collaboration hardware in our conference rooms and event spaces.
- Learn, document, and support new applications and IT procedures, always keeping a keen eye on opportunities to refine and increase efficiency.
- Review and create detailed and impactful technical documentation for use as self help guides, or as part of a technical knowledge base repository.
- Participate in IT Operations scrum teams to deliver projects that continually enhance and scale our service capabilities globally.
- Act as point of contact on technical matters for local product and operations teams, as well as all other stakeholders.
- Partner with IT Procurement to help coordinate with local vendors, and to ensure efficient logistics and supply chain processes.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Technical experience and expertise on OS X, iOS, Chrome OS, and Android operating systems
- Experience managing, troubleshooting and escalating incidents and requests through an IT ticketing system such as Jira Service Desk or equivalent.
- Networking knowledge, including the understanding of key concepts and equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot events or incidents.
- Administration experience with Google Workspace, Atlassian products, Okta, Jamf, or Slack.
- Demonstrable troubleshooting ability including log analysis and interpretation, and the ability to work towards establishing the root cause of a technical incident.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Experience providing support in a remote-first environment (preferably without remote access support software)
- Experience working in an agile focused project delivery environment.
- Project management experience via prior exposure to hands-on project work.
- Solid knowledge of scripting and automation techniques with experience writing or testing scripts in a managed environment.
