We are recruiting a full-time Sr. Blockchain Engineer for our client that is currently operating in stealth mode. This client is building the world’s first data and compliance operating system to restore trust and transparency to data use. Consumers are aware that their data is not protected and often misused. At the same time, businesses can’t keep up with complex compliance laws. This leads to fear and confusion, resource burdens and data silos that inhibit innovation. Our client is looking to break down these barriers in order to protect consumers and unlock the free flow of data for rapid innovation and newly imagined user experiences.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, focused on data and working on projects from end to end.

The Role

• Define and lead development in defining the state of the art for decentralized data privacy protection.
• Direct architecture for front-end, back-end, and web3 technology stacks
• Write and test product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., >
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
• 3 years experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• Experience writing core infrastructure software, developing distributed systems or highly scalable databases

Preferred

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience in Bitcoin, cryptography, or enterprise data solutions
• Experience with Blockchain related projects
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

Base Salary: $200K - $250K
