Web3 Sr. Solidity Engineer

Metadrop is a new platform for NFT drops that eliminates gas wars, creates more equitable launches, and helps projects capture more value so they can deliver amazing products to their communities. We work with teams building for the long-term and help them launch their projects and expand their communities through thoughtfully designed and unique sale mechanisms on our platform.

Ultimately, we are looking to push the NFT space forward with a strong focus on community but also with the intention to expand the space by helping projects and companies outside of crypto realize the potential of NFTs.

who we’re looking for

• Senior solidity engineer with experience writing and deploying high value contracts to mainnet

• Deep understanding of the Solidity language itself

• Extremely good understanding of security and a strong appreciation for testing

• Familiarity with OpenZepplin contracts as well as other audited, open source contracts

• Exceptional at gas optimization

• Excellent at data structures and algorithms, strong math skills

• Broad experience with various tooling like Hardhat, Truffle, Remix etc. as well as protocols like Chainlink and The Graph

• Significant experience with web3.js or ethers.js

• Good at typescript and able to write scripts to automate tasks

• Familiarity with front-end testing libraries like mocha / chai

• Able to design unique, on-chain solutions to tough problems

• Good understanding and experience using Solidity events

• Bonus if you know or are interested in learning Rust as well

• You’re just a dope person who enjoys working with other cool people and having fun while building hugely impactful products
