Btw, since we are a remote-first company, you can be based on the East Coast of the US, Europe or anywhere +-4 hours CET. In this role you will report directly to our Head of Product.
About the opportunity:
Have you always wanted to join a Web3 start-up where you can work on exciting initiatives related to NFTs, Metaverse and dApps? Great! đĽWeâre looking for a Student Assistant with deep excitement for community management in the Web3 space. You will be leading our community activations across WYTLAND. This role will be key in supporting our growth initiatives, including managing our social media, driving community engagement and its operations and owning the key relationships with our communities.
What you will do:
- Manage our communities and optimise the community strategy to ensure that our travel creator community continues to grow by facilitating engagement, feedback and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Moderate our Geneva server, Instagram, Twitter and other social media channels and interact with the community to increase positive sentiment, drive brand awareness and adoption of WYTLANDâs products.
- Organise, manage and oversee community online events and any other local events, which WYTLAND may decide to organise from time to time, ensuring proper community outreach.
- Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion of WYTLANDâs global travel creator base and influence.
- Support community acquisition and growth through reinforcing a positive image of WYTLAND.
- Support product in establishing community feedback loops, including for the Web3 experimentation lab.
- Create, publish and manage content as needed across social media channels and forums.
- Keep an editorial calendar up-to-date and manage the posting and conversations with our travel creator community.
- Manage core sentiment reporting in the community, provide feedback to the founders and product and suggest improvements in order to continuously increase engagement.
- Stay on top of the global Web3 trends and news.
What we are looking for:
- You are in your second or final year of your bachelorâs degree or in the first year of your masterâs degree within business administration, marketing, communications or similar.
- You are passionate about Web3 and have the desire to learn A LOT more about it (donât worry, we are not the type of company that asks Student Assistants to have 3 years of experience đ).
- You have a great ability to empathise with people and solve problems in a structured manner.
- You are comfortable in an ambiguous environment where the answer is not always in front of you.
- You have a strong bias for action with a can-do mentality and the ability to stay resilient in challenging situations.
- You are a solid and clear communicator that loves to tell great stories.
- You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.

- You are familiar with Web3 and blockchain technology.
- You are passionate about travelling and the travel industry.
- You have experience with running a blog or post frequently on social media.
