Web3 Community Manager

Compensation: $23k - $52k estimated

Our client empowers the $2T telco market to move onto the blockchain, with an open, and efficient network for all. They are building a network that enables any party to become a provider of connectivity and financial services, bringing blockchain benefits to existing telcos but also opening the world up for new methods of providing connectivity - mesh networks, peer to peer, etc - pushing the economic benefits back to the participants. The company’s goal is to build the last singular network for the planet, accessible to anyone and owned by everyone.

  • Telcos are increasingly required to compete with banks on financial services
  • Billions of end-users struggling with multiple expensive accounts and hard-to-access crypto and blockchain-based financial services
  • Connectivity hubs like airlines, cruise ships, local hot spots, in need of ancillary revenues and looking to improve user experience and loyalty
  • Blockchain community, looking for ‘legos’ - product functionality - that can easily be integrated into existing products and services. Blockchain projects can both bring users to their network, as well as bringing functionality that can be unlocked for the users of their network

Position

Our client is looking for a growth-focused community manager who is well integrated into the NFT side of Web3 and knows their way around the various metaverses. The role will be remote.


In this role you will

  • Direct, manage and build local community engagement across all channels
  • Be active in NFT communities across the Metaverse, Gaming and Art verticals
  • Strategic marketing campaign & branding build-up
  • Liaise with community group leaders
  • Channel potential partnership opportunities to the right people
  • Assist our marketing and events team
  • Provide regular updates and local insight reports
  • You will be a prominent member of our team and will be active in our Telegram Community, as well as relevant groups and channels across all platforms including Reddit, Bitcointalk and Twitter.
  • Keen interest in DeFi, NFT’s, NFT Art and Metaverse gaming (Decentraland, Cryptovoxels, The Sandbox, etc.)
  • Deep exposure on Web3 / blockchain community outlets in Europe/ USA/ Asia
  • Prior experience in building, growing and managing dynamic online communities
  • Capable of developing strategy and executing outbound social media strategy on LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter among other channels
  • Active in the Crypto communities on Twitter, Discord, Reddit, Bitcointalk
  • Comfortable using decentralized Crypto software such s Metamask, DEXs Liquidity Pools etc.)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
