The Business Technology (BizTech) team at Chainalysis creates intuitive, scalable, and secure technology experiences that accelerate Chainalysis’ growth and empower our employees to do their best work. 

The Senior Systems Engineer in Identity & Access Management is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of tools in our Identity & Collaboration ecosystem. Individuals who will excel in this role are able to develop a clear architecture across multiple systems, design and implement new systems and integrations, all while creating the best possible user experiences for employees at Chainalysis. 

The person in this role will develop strong relationships with our business partners and stakeholders through trust and operational excellence. They will be able to balance the needs of an outstanding user experience with requirements around our security and compliance. 

In one year you’ll know you were successful if…

  • You have provided intuitive technology experiences to our employees through technical and business process improvements, and to our partners through your strategic collaboration

  • Partnering with your peers, you have built and delivered an Identity roadmap that balances our needs for scale, a high bar for user experience, and the security of the company

  • You have owned the architecture and technology choices critical to the continued success and growth of the company and the BizTech organization

  • In collaboration with Compliance/Security, you have delivered solutions that address identified gaps in our environment while maintaining a seamless user experience

  • You have been building out the team through mentorship of junior members in BizTech and participation in ongoing hiring efforts

The ideal background would contain…

  • Demonstrated experience in roles of similar scope, preferably within technology companies

  • Background building world-class Identity & Access ecosystems leveraging Okta

  • Strong experience administering and integrating collaboration systems (Google, Slack, JAMF, etc.)

  • History of demonstrating adaptability, resilience, support, and diversity within your teams

  • Able to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences with varying levels of expertise

  • Background in FinTech or Crypto is great, but not required
