We are looking for a Risk Strategy Analyst who is passionate about the business, has strong analytical skills, and pays keen attention to detail. In this role, you will develop and implement risk strategies that balance growth and security, ensuring compliance and minimizing exposure to fraud and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Use advanced data analysis techniques to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Design and monitor dashboards to capture key risk metrics and ensure proactive management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align risk strategies with overall business objectives.
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in current processes and propose solutions.
- Conduct detailed reviews of incidents and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to inform strategy development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, data analytics, or a related role (experience in financial services preferred)
- Genuine interest in the business with the ability to quickly grasp complex processes and translate them into actionable insights.
- Strong capability to identify nuances and ensure accuracy in both analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, or other analytical software. Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability for delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Prior experience in financial services, risk management, or fintech is an advantage.
