About the team
The Data team aims to empower Fireblocks with data through analysis, operational insights, strategic initiatives, and decision-making. In this role, you will be responsible for data modeling, writing, and implementing ELT data ingestion processes in our data warehouse. Your work will impact our business's success and growth.
To do well in this role, you must be technical and up-to-date with modern technology to automate manual data collection processes. You should have strong analytical skills, strong modeling skills, and the ability to work well with other teams in the organization.
What you’ll do
We’re seeking a talented and driven lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our data team, you will work closely with our Product, R&D, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to identify customer needs, develop strategies for infrastructure improvement, and monitor product performance. Your role will involve ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our data infrastructure and leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance data processing and analysis.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT development within a data warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with DBT, strong data modeling skills, and an excellent understanding of DWH architecture and methodology.
- Experience working with BI tools
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and MySQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
