Newton team members are spread out across Canada within a fully-remote capacity.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design and Engineering Leadership to prioritize work, assign the necessary resources, and use project management software tools to track and report progress — all to help our teams create impactful and engaging content for our customers.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for: • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget • Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility • Supporting and prioritizing work for our Engineering teams to help create impactful content for our customers • Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques • Measuring and adjusting project performance using appropriate tools and techniques • Creating, tracking, managing and adjust project parameters based on measured KPIs • Managing the relationships with all stakeholders • Owning project ideation, management, execution, business case development and ROI analysis and close-out •  Working with different teams to proactively identify and manage project risks and issues as they arise • Mapping current systems and processes to identify optimization opportunities • Creating and improving processes in support of achieving operational excellence

Skills Knowledge and Expertise: • 2+ years in project management, or equivalent experience in a comparable role • Experience with project management software (e.g. Wrike, MS Project, Asana, Jira)  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multitask • Excellent communicator - you must be able to communicate and facilitate across internal teams and internal/external stakeholders, superior communications skill is a must

Nice to Haves: • Project certifications • Experience working in waterfall and/or agile environments • Knowledge and/or passion for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies
