What is Menyala?

We are a venture building team founded by Temasek, a global investment firm headquartered in Singapore. Menyala has a 2-pronged mission:

1. Create repeatable methodology and capabilities to turn ideas into scalable industry-leading ventures in the realm of decentralized technologies
2. Launch pioneering ventures by end 2022 that drive exponential value for people in a new wave of previously unimaginable businesses and business models

Engineering is the team responsible for building solutions to the problems that Menyala targets to solve. Engineering will build concept to prototypes as well as early support of product builds.

In this role you will:

1. Design and define solution architecture and key flows to deliver product and design requirements
2. Build key technical components for MVP (full stack) to support build-measure-learn cycles
3. Estimate technical complexity and sizing of development efforts
4. Manage technical debt throughout product testing and definition phase
5. Design and setup of initial DevOps pipeline

You should have:

• A genuine interest in web3 and/or decentralized technologies (i.e. have written smart contracts)
• Start-up experience, with the ability to operate autonomously and adapt quickly to changing priorities with a cross-functional team
• Development experience in building our MVPs
• A passion for building products and solving big problems
• A 0 to 1 mentality and experience for a venture building journey
• Bonus: experience building and demoing in hackathons
