About The Role
Agoric is searching for a proactive Project Manager with a track record of innovation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will excel at managing multiple workstreams and driving the team to consistently deliver high-quality projects on time.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate project teams across multiple workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Lead ticket/issue triage, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact to maintain focus on the highest priorities.
  • Proactively identify project risks and devise mitigation strategies to minimize delays and negative impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders, actively participating in planning sessions and contributing to project strategy.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, promoting clear communication and collaboration among team members, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation to track progress and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and tools (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., GitHub, JIRA, Asana, Trello, MS Project).

Nice-to-Haves
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
  • Previous experience at a fast-paced, high-growth stage internet/software company.
  • Familiarity with various programming languages, frameworks, and platforms (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, React, Angular, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a software development or engineering role.

Minimum Requirements
  • Work authorization in the U.S. or Canada.
  • Undergraduate degree.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $150,000 Base salary.
