What FDT is looking for?
We are looking for Test Automation Engineer to lead us through the journey of automation testing to ensure high quality of products and the capability to scale up quickly at the same time.
What you will do?
- Collaborate closely with engineers to deliver high-quality features, ensuring thorough test coverage.
- Develop automated test cases using Cypress for both UI and API endpoints to ensure software robustness and reliability.
- Manage expectations effectively by working alongside stakeholders and product managers, and promptly addressing production incidents.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing strategies and methodologies, keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation testing.
- Actively participate in code reviews, offering feedback and suggestions to optimize test scripts and improve test coverage.
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support in adopting automation best practices and enhancing their technical skills in testing and test automation.

- Able to work independently after onboarding.
What’s nice to have?
- Experienced in writing automated scripts using any tools and any language. (added advantage).
- Familiarity with unit and integration code from the dev team.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas: DeFi, NFT, Payment, Wealth Management.
