Job Description:

The Role

In this role, you will work closely with technical leads and architects to develop high quality, resilient, scalable and secure applications in an Agile environment, utilizing modern software development practices, to support Fidelity Digital Assets℠ products.

Design, develop, document, and maintain software applications. Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards. Collaborate with other technical resources to: Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards. Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools. Understand requirements.

Understand and apply test driven development concepts.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

3+ years of software product development experience in Java Proven experience in Agile methodology and modern development toolset General understanding of blockchain and cryptography Highly collaborative individual with ability to build strong working relationships with team members Willingness and ability to learn and tackle challenging opportunities and to work as a member of a diverse and geographically distributed team. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent

Fidelity Digital Asset Security is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing and trading digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the Digital Asset Security team. You’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will write code for product features. It is a great opportunity to build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services utilizing modern software development practices.
