About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Associate, Security Technical Project Management, who is responsible for infrastructure security and information technology projects in the security team.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. He/She will be providing support to the Project Management Lead in delivering day-to-day ‘hands on’ tasks and this include defining the scope of projects, documentations such as business cases and project status reports and managing stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative and motivated project team.
- Work in the Security Project Management team which is part of the Security IT team.
- Manage waterfall implementation projects including security cloud infrastructure and ITSM solutions
- Gather and elicit requirements from different stakeholders
- Define project baseline in terms of scope, cost, timeline and resource
- Report to the Sec PMO office and Steering Committee with the management
- Draft test plan and test case with QA
- Communicate with vendor for POC and implementation
- Work with end-users for project initiation till roll-out
- Plan, direct and coordinate projects to ensure that the objectives are accomplished within the time frames allocated and budget parameters.
- Provide overall direction and leadership to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for the definition of project scope and all documentations such as business cases and project status reports.
- Review the project proposals or plans to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the projects and negotiate the resources required for each project phase.
- Identify potential risks and issues and be able to mitigate them.
- Assist to design and drive security features for our end products.
- Act as a security team point of contact in terms of the collaboration with different teams.
- Take the initiative and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- 4 years of working experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or lead technical support role for software applications.
- 2 years of management experience on project management staff.
- Must be proactive and possess strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching IT projects and security-related products.
- Remote work using collaboration and IM software like Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Technical background, with experience in the IT industry including digital solutions or infrastructure or cloud-related or application development.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Has to be proactive and passionate in a Startup environment.
