Blockchain Developer

Ently is seeking a new Blockchain Developer to take a leading role in the company as we build a new platform in the blockchain space.

What we’re looking for
As a Blockchain Developer with ently, you will be tasked with collaborating and executing in all areas of technical development: coding, roadmapping, team management, and compliance. You will work very closely with our CTO and Executive team to help deliver the company mission, develop growth strategy, and organizational cohesiveness across all operations. We work in a fast moving market, and this role will require a flexible individual who’s open to pivots, and strategic/creative thinking.

Requirements
You are a cryptocurrency, blockchain, decentralisation, and open-source champion and advocate.

• Familiar with blockchain patterns, tools, and common protocols
• Cloud system architecture (AWS experience or certification a plus)
• Server networking, security and management
• Relational and document database management and tuning
• React / Typescript / general web design principles and monitoring
• Experience with common blockchain protocols
• Comfortable working in a small team and self-managing workflow, milestones, and reporting
• Solid understanding of Vechain, Ethereum, and Binance Smart Chain ecosystems
• Hands-on experience in smart contracts development as well as skills, knowledge, and a good sense of best practices in design and security.
• Strong unit and functional testing and debugging skills
• Willing to learn is always a plus. Bonus if you have experience with MongoDB, MySQL or Postgres

Team

• You should have a proven record of leading teams or exhibiting sound leadership
• You know how to communicate complex ideas
• Ideally you have leadership experience
