About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to take Keep's business development to the next level. We have an exciting roadmap of new products that will be coming to market over the next 12 months, and need someone passionate about DeFi to champion them to the broader ecosystem. You must be comfortable prioritising and qualifying opportunities, and then driving them from origination all the way through to completion.

Our integrations are progressive. We typically start with one integration and then introduce more over time. It is important to manage relationships with these partners in order to keep them engaged. The key for the decentralized web to take off is to integrate with applications. By making deals with partners, you are just as much an architect of the decentralized web as our tech team.

Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about decentralised technologies, with a focused and up to date knowledge of what’s happening in DeFi. You must be able to tell us how and why you think DeFi will change the world over the next decade.

About You

  • You’re passionate about blockchain and continually keep at the forefront of cryptocurrency & DeFi
  • You have experience managing BD pipelines and processes
  • You have a sense for pursuing opportunities or strategic conversations wherever they present themselves
  • You enjoy & find energy for keeping up with industry colleagues at in-person events, online events, group chats, and social media
  • You’re able to work in a team, either on site or independently as a remote member of the team
  • 5+ years experience in a tech startup environment

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage Keep team’s business development pipeline to ensure it is up to date and that all relevant stakeholders are using it efficiently
  • Contribute actively to shaping and prioritizing our BD strategy as we scale
  • Quantifying the potential value of a deal or relationship
  • Leverage Keep's existing strategic partners, clients, and investors to help discover new opportunities
  • Originate and pursue opportunities for future partnerships and opportunities for Keep with other Defi projects, Crypto wallets, Centralised exchanges, and the broader financial and crypto ecosystem.
  • Be the first touchpoint for Keep's BD inbounds and the ongoing relationship manager
  • Pitch and run demonstrations of Keep's latest products with support from our technical team.
  • Market your successes and communicate our new partnerships and collaborations clearly to market
  • Crafting effective GTM strategies utilizing defi/crypto market knowledge, the nuances of the project’s unique relationships, with a deep understanding of our product’s value proposition
  • Work with multiple types of partners such as cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, browsers, browser extensions, registrars, and other crypto/web related companies
  • Strategically navigate the process from introduction, to integration, to managing the ongoing relationship
  • Become an expert on our platform; display a deep understanding of its functionality, features, and impact for potential partners
  • Maintain close relationships with partners and ensure they continue to; integrate new features, run co-promotions, announce our latest news, etc.
  • Effectively communicate (verbal + written) Biz Dev and GTM plans to all internal stakeholders, in addition to external
  • Navigate and communicate effectively in crypto communities — on Discord, Twitter, Telegram groups, and Governance forums
  • Occasionally throw cool & intimate events at industry

Ideally you’ll have:

  • +1 year(s) or more of experience in a full time work environment, either in an office or remotely
  • Strong knowledge of Defi, and BD pipeline management
  • Management skill and hiring capabilities
  • Experience creating and pitching presentations on powerpoint or google slides
  • An understanding of the economics and game theory underlying incentivised crypto mechanisms and markets
  • The hunger to always be driving deals to completion
  • A natural drive to connect with people & maintain an active interest in your industry peers’ work & lives
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving decentralized environment l while creating a vision and organization that can scale quickly
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with internal constituencies
  • Ability to recruit, develop and retain a high performing BD process

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in DeFi either for a project or as an individual
  • An existing network within crypto
  • Strong listening and negotiation skills
  • Experience writing and publishing BD specific marketing content
Location:

All roles are remote first, with a preference for Europe & Americas time zones.
