We're collaborating with a standout company that's building cutting-edge infrastructure for decentralized credit markets. Their platform blends blockchain-based smart contracts with intuitive, scalable financial products — bringing institutional-grade solutions to DeFi. The protocol is live and actively used by leading participants across the digital asset ecosystem.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Solidity Engineer to join a highly skilled team of smart contract developers. You’ll be contributing directly to the evolution of a sophisticated, secure, and composable lending protocol, helping to shape and ship new features while maintaining high performance and security standards.
You’ll be designing new DeFi primitives, building modular and gas-optimised smart contracts, and implementing secure systems that can handle institutional scale.
Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and test secure smart contracts in Solidity
Prepare smart contracts for external security audits and address feedback
Respond to vulnerabilities by simulating exploit scenarios and defining mitigations
Build and maintain keeper systems for contract automation
Monitor contract activity for both security and operational insights
Conduct in-depth code reviews with a strong focus on safety and optimisation
Stay current on developments in Ethereum tooling, standards, and protocol-level changes
Work cross-functionally with protocol, product, and front-end teams to deliver features
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional Solidity development experience
Minimum 4 years of total software engineering experience
Proven experience deploying to Ethereum mainnet
Strong grasp of proxy patterns, upgradability, and modular contract design
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Foundry or Hardhat
Strong attention to test coverage, fuzzing, and secure code practices
Deep passion for the DeFi ecosystem
Solid knowledge of Git-based repo workflows
Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
Team-first mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary paid in local fiat or crypto (you choose!)
Token allocation
30 days PTO annually
Remote-first team with flexible work hours
Optional WeWork or co-working stipend
Choose between contract or full-time employment, with local statutory benefits where applicable
Open, transparent, and collaborative work culture
Annual offsite retreats
Funding for personal learning and development
If you're passionate about building secure and scalable systems in the Web3 space, and you're ready to contribute to the future of institutional finance on-chain, we’d love to hear from you.
